Keith Colgan brings to Foram Group, Inc. more than 25 years experience in the real estate development and construction industry. As Executive Vice President of Development and Construction for Foram Group, he is currently overseeing the growth of two high-profile properties, Brickell Financial Centre, which is set to become South Florida's largest "green" commercial office building, and The Bartram in Gainesville, one of the first green luxury apartment projects in the US.
The two properties Mr. Colgan is handling shift the company's focus to managing the vertical development of various properties within Foram Group's portfolio, while expanding its forward-thinking philosophy that will set the tone for future development. This attitude is reinforced by the deep commitment to creating enduring properties that reflect the company's belief in strong sustainable building practices.
Prior to joining Foram Group, Mr. Colgan was Vice President at Choate Construction Company in Savannah, Georgia where he directed all operations of the division. Mr. Colgan has a broad range of development and construction project experience including residential condominiums and apartments, office, retail, hospitality, medical and industrial facilities throughout Connecticut, New York, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. His combined career development and construction experience delivered successful projects in excess of 5 million square feet with values exceeding $450 million. He has built in excess of 1500 residential units.
Mr. Colgan holds a Bachelors Degree of Science in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. He also completed graduate programs in Real Estate Development & Real Estate Finance from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and graduate studies in Construction Management from New York University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and U.S. Green Building Council.
