The law firm of Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod has signed a 10-year lease with Brickell Financial Centre, a mixed-use "green" development at 680 Brickell Ave.
Bilzin Sumberg will occupy 115,000 square-feet in the 40-story office tower, currently under construction. Developer The Foram Group expects the first phase to be completed by January 2010. The second phase, a 68-story mixed-use tower that includes ground floor retail, office space, and a 300-room hotel, is scheduled for fourth quarter 2010 with completion in 2012.
Danet Linares, Senior VP and director of real estate services for Foram Group, handled the transaction on behalf of the landlord. Barbara Liberatore Black and Matthew Goodman of CRESA Partners represented the tenant.
